Experience:

Oliver McElroy brings more than 35 years of accounting experience to the firm. He started his accounting career with the local firm of Steres, Alpert & Carne. He progressed from staff accountant to a partner within their tax department. He subsequently started his own firm as a sole practitioner with a variety of business and individual clients.

Oliver’s practice area is tax and he specializes in counseling high net worth individuals in tax and estate planning, with an emphasis on real estate investors. He has extensive experience dealing with partnerships and limited liability companies.

Prior to beginning his accounting career, Oliver spent four years as a naval officer during the Vietnam conflict. The Navy brought him to San Diego, where he still resides.
