Audit Senior

JGD & Associates LLP. Established in 1977, is consistently ranked among the top local CPA firms in San Diego. We are a full service CPA firm offering traditional accounting, tax, auditing, and consulting services in a non-traditional public accounting environment. We provide a flexible and casual workplace. Our continual investment of time and resources in professional continuing education and state of the art computer systems has fostered an atmosphere of learning.

 

We are currently seeking an Audit Senior for our Sorrento Valley office. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate that they can perform the following skills or tasks:

 

·         Audits and reviews for non-SEC clients (60-80 clients).

·         A-133 single audit experience is a plus.

·         Ability to be the in-charge on jobs with one to three staff members.

·         Maintain a majority of client contact and audit scheduling.

·         Review of staff work papers.

·         Prepare audit invoices.

·         Prepare or review administration portion of binders.

·         Capability of multi-tasking and organization of open projects.

·         Ability to learn multiple computer programs in relevant software and work in a paperless environment.

·         Motivated professional self-starter who can work independently, as well as in a team environment.

·         Ability to take ownership of their work.

·         Ability to take initiative and offer assistance to others.

·         Detail-oriented, dependable and trustworthy with a positive attitude.

·         Provide excellent customer service to our diverse clientele.

 

Qualifications

·         Bachelor's degree in accounting required, CPA license a plus, but not required.

·         Experience: 3 or 4 years in public accounting

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

·         Prosystems Engagement experience helpful, but not necessary.

 

No travel  - all work is local
